Classical Physics is coming back, RELOADED!!!Not only is classical physics not "coming back"; but, pomo theoretical physics as described by the standard models will soon be passé.
Classical physics cannot explain observations that have been confirmed with modern technology; such as: the Pioneer anomaly; accelerating, galactic recession; and high energy background radiation; etc,
Pomo theoretical physics cannot reconcile any standard model, either internally or with any other standard model.
Soon there will be a Paradigm Shift! to a "new physics" that will explain current paradoxes and enigmas such that a thoughtful layperson can understand the environment in which we find ourselves.
The Cosmos, subatomic manifestations, and life will be reconciled; something that current physics finds impossible.
When this occurs: Science, Theology, and Philosophy will be united as one discipline.

Martillo: I am not sure what you mean by “classical physics”, and I’m totally confused by the “Index of nuclear particles” (probably because I lack the enthusiasm needed to follow the next level of links). However, I think I agree with you. We need a return to classical physics, and I think it’s just a matter of time before we get one. To me, a model is “classical” if its space has only three dimensions, isn’t warped, doesn’t possess force fields without a transmitting particle and doesn’t have finite-size empty spaces.
My own Fractal Foam Model of Universes fits that description. It unifies the grand scale of the cosmic foam (walls of galaxies surrounding voids) with the ultra-small scale of the ether foam (walls of sup-universe galaxies surrounding sub-universe voids). The sub-universe’s cosmic foam is our ether foam and our cosmic foam is the super-universe’s ether foam; there is an infinite succession of smaller and larger-scale universes, each infinite in size.
I have been posting my latest revisions on my Yahoo!360 blog as the model evolves in my mind. So far, I have explained (in a very general way) how the expansion of the sub-universe causes the expansion of our universe and creates all the forces and particles in our universe. I am working on a more specific description of fundamental particles, consisting of two or more high-energy photons (ether s-waves) orbiting one another due to interaction with dark energy (ether p-waves).
Epsilon=One: What is this high-energy background radiation? My model hints that all space should have a fairly bright cosmic-ray glow, but I am not aware of any observations to confirm it.
As for unifying science, theology and philosophy, I think that is dangerous. We already seem to have an established religion, called the “standard model”; that is unconstitutional in the U.S., and should remain so. There must always be limits to science, which can be proven or falsified; whereas models are free to speculate to the infinitely large and small, infinite past and future, infinite possibilities and alternate realities. The term “theory” is widely misused, today. Big bang is a model, not a theory. Models are religious dogma, though they can spawn testable, falsifiable theories. Some quasi theories (possibly testable in the 22nd Century) from my own model are the equivalence of energy and space and the exchange of momentum between photons and dark energy.
I could use some help developing my model; even hostile remarks are welcome, so long as they are specific enough to deserve an answer.
