hey im currently completing my final year in Mechanical engineering at Plymotuh University UK. my final year dissitation is the FEA stress analysis of a conrod using ProEngineer and PRoMechnaica. My dissitation is going fine but i have come to a math problem which my lecturer is unable to help me with because he is only holiday for two weeks, (its 3 weeks before it is due in so great timing)
before i can test the models i have created in ProEngineer and ProMechanica i have to determine the forces acting on the conrod.i need to kno;

centrifugal force of the conrod
and the force created from combustion acting on the conrod (this needs to be known at several different angles ATDC)

now i must admit ive tried to figure this out myslef but to no avail, ive been looking moment forces of a link and the external forces but cannot make sense of the equations given. if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be appreciated, i would write more but conidering this is the first post on this forum section im keepin it minimum.
