Hi
I have to question which i can not find any information on
!st question: is it possible to control the length of a light beam
2nd question: is there any form of light which are viable in daylight and air without the use of a haze machine
or is the plasma phenomenon the only visible light
Thanks

I'm no physicist but I have a common sense approach to problems like this.
The reason the sky looks black if you were standing on the moon is because there's nothing to dissipate the light. The light falls in a straight line from the sun to the surface of the moon and shadows on the moon would be very harsh all the time.
The reason the sky looks white/grey/blue/orange here is because the light from the sun is bouncing off particules of air in all directions, so even when you're looking down, the light is bouncing off the air particles / ground, and reflecting up into your eyes.
It's all about reflection. If there's nothing to reflect the photons int your eyes, then the only way your eyes will detect them is to look directly at the source.
As such, the only way to make a beam of light visible from the side is by introducing some medium to reflect some of the light towards the viewer. Yes, this would be a "mist" as you suggest though that would be very inefficient as it would reflect light in all directions.
Is there any way to fix the length of a beam of light? Yes, put something in its way. Does light ever fall off to zero? no, but close enough after long enough. Can you reduce the visble length of a beam of light. Yes, by shining it through a semi opaque medium (see "putting something in its way" above).
Plasma discharge is not a single source of light. Instead it's an electrical current that excites all atoms in it's path, turning billions of air particles into individual light sources - different thing entirely.

Hi hukaen,
Thanks for posting about Is there any way to fix the length of a beam of light?
I was waiting for this from log back.
Any way I got now. I will try on this way and let you know, did it works or not.

Light is simply a name for a range of electromagnetic radiation that can be detected by the human eye. Electromagnetic radiation has a dual nature as both particles and waves. One way to look at it is as changing electric and magnetic fields which propagate through space, forming an electromagnetic wave.

Light is all around us.It is the primary way we come to know the universe and thus is very important to physicists. One of the properties of light is that it reflects off surfaces.Among other things, this reflection allows us to see images in mirrors.Another property is the speed of light, which is the fastest anything has been observed to move.

Current laser-based techniques to make computer chips cannot fashion components much smaller than the light's wavelength, but researchers are devising tricks to beat this so-called diffraction limit.

You also have the advantage of being female. Bouncers are far more interested in letting women in than men, since lots of women attract lots of men to a venue, which sells more drinks and makes more money.

Well, I think you should search Google for the answer, You may get alot of suggestions there. May be you able to solved your problem just in mins. I hope there will be many threads discussed about this topic before. For cheap Zhu Zhu pets please see the Zhu Zhu pets hamsters (http://discountedzhuhamsterpets.com/1/zhu-zhu-pets) site where you can buy Zhu Zhu hamsters at low prices.

I shall start by assuring you I have no intentions of being rude or making fun of you, I don't believe and I shall give you a reason why not to.To be honest I am a bit puzzled by your questions regardless of the psychic appeal as they honestly seem pointless. Does it really matter when they are born or what shade they are? Would health not be more pertinent? Also I must disagree about the military and whole death sentence thing, many serve very, very far away from any hint of conflict, quite okay to date em.

You have to wait for him and his girlfriend to end their relationship. Then you can go and tell him exactly how you feel.If you really like him then you should wait but if you do not then you could look for another guy i guess.

Absorb: To Transform radiant energy into a different form, with a resultant rise in temperature.
Absorption Transformation of radiant energy to a different form of energy by the interaction of matter, depending on temperature and wavelength.
Absorption Coefficient Factor describing light's ability to be absorbed per unit of path length.
Accessible Emission The magnitude of accessible laser (or other collateral) radiation of a specific wavelength or emission duration at a particular point as measured by appropriate methods and devices. Also means radiation to which human access is possible in accordance with the definitions of the laser's hazard classification.
Accessible Emission Limit The maximum accessible emission level limit (AEL) permitted within a particular class. In ANSI Z-136.1, AEL is determined as the product of Accessible Emission times the Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) using the area of the limiting aperture (7 mm for visible and near infrared lasers).
Active Medium Collection of atoms or molecules capable of undergoing stimulated emission at a given wavelength.
Afocal Literally, "without a focal length"; an optical system with its object and image point at infinity.
Aiming Beam A laser (or other light source) used as a guide light. Used coaxially with infrared or other invisible light may also be a reduced level of the actual laser used for surgery or for other applications.
Amplification The growth of the radiation field in the laser resonator cavity. As the light wave bounces back and forth between the cavity mirrors, it is amplified by stimulated emission on each pass through the active medium.
Amplitude The maximum value of the electromagnetic wave, measured from the mean to the extreme; simply stated: the height of the wave.
Angle of Incidence (See Incident Light)
Angstrom A unit of measure of wavelength equal to 10-10 meter, 0.1 nanometer, or 10-4 micrometer, no longer widely used nor recognized in the SI system of units.
Anode An electrical element in laser excitation which attracts electrons from a cathode.
Aperture An opening through which radiation can pass.
Apparent Visual Angle The angular subtense of the source as calculated from the source size and distance from the eye. It is not the beam divergence of the source.
AR Coatings Antireflection coatings used on optical components to suppress unwanted reflections.
Argon A gas used as a laser medium. It emits blue/green light primarily at 448 and 515 nm.

When I took a good look into Lucchese women’s cowboy boots, I not only found that there are some absolutely gorgeous boots available (the likes of which I’ve never seen), but that there is a rather large variety of selection in terms of both the collections, colors and materials they are constructed from.

Hi,
You're not marrying him. No.
Your husband seems to come at age 24, connected to the military. Possibly airforce...maybe airlines?
I see 4 children: 2 boys and 2 girls.
Strongest childbearing years: age 27 to 30. Do not concieve now, as it will block your true love from finding you!!
Also, be prepared to move far away, possibly out of the states, as you will travel with your husband!
You asked!!!
Good luck!
