I hope this will not happened:
In the year 9595
I'm kinda wondering if man's gonna be alive
He's taken everything this old earth can give
And he ain't put back nothing...

I think the year 2020 will be like this:
The entire world is one family. The framework of Altruistic Communism ultimately encircle the entire world in an equal standard of living to everybody. However, the actual process is a gradual one. Each nation whose majority accepts these basic elements practically, and who have already been brought up to bestow upon their fellow person and will have a sound cause for fuel, may enter the framework of the international communism right away.
All the nations that have already gone under the framework of international communism will have equal standards of living. The surplus of a wealthy or a diligent nation will improve the living standards of the failing or poor nation in raw materials and productive means.
The economic and religious form that guarantees communism will be one for all nations. It means that the religious form of all nations must first obligate its members to bestowal upon their fellow person in the form of “Love thy friend as thyself.” The aim is that the gifted and the lucky shall not enjoy society more than the backward members. This will be the collective religion for all nations that will come under the framework of the Altruistic Communism, excluding religious forms that do not concern the economic life.
On other matters of comportment, each will have his or her own form, which should not be changed. In other words: except for the matter of “Love thy friend as thyself,” each nation may follow its own religion and tradition, and one must not interfere with another.
There should be no differences between black and white, civilized and primitive, just as among individuals of the same nation. There must be no discrimination among individuals, a nation, or all the nations of the world. As long as there are differences, war will not end.
Altruistic Communism will finally annul the brute-force regime completely, for “every man did that which was right in his own eyes.” It should not surprise us, as it was unbelievable that children could be educated by explanation, but only through the cane. However, today, most people have accepted that and reduce the forceful rule on children...
All this and more else are Kabbalah's offer for a future society.

I hope this will not happened:
In the year 9595
I'm kinda wondering if man's gonna be alive
He's taken everything this old earth can give
And he ain't put back nothing...I am optimistic that man will survive until 9595. I am not entirely optimistic that this survival will not require much different ways of life than are now imaginable.

I think the year 2020 will be like this:...I agree with much that you imagine; however, it will take much longer than 2020 for such “international communism” as you imagine. Probably, several hundred years . . . or longer, will be required. I expect the primary motivation will be survival as man-made disaster upon disaster “brings home” the necessity of sustainability, tolerance and purpose. See: Creed (www.atD21.com/Creed).

At that time there will be no need for nations and religions to separate the inhabitants of Earth with the evils of patriotism and mysticism, which are two powerful forces, invoked by the elite for their benefit, to manipulate the unwise and uneducated persons against their self-interest and the general welfare.

The disciplines of Economics and Politics will gradually become managed by computers that will be tweaked from time-to-time to adjust for optimal performance for the general welfare and to offset unforeseeable environmental occurrences. As feedback adjusts the computers, they will become less and less dependent upon human control.

As physicists and philosophers better understand our environment the need for, or possibility of, an anthropic god will evaporate as a child's belief in Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, tooth fairy, leprechauns, etc.

I must emphasize the error in your thinking. The entire world cannot become one (a family as you state) until nations and religions (along with arbitrary human rule and beliefs in controlling mysticism) are eradicated. Until human beings realize the evils of such bondage as nationality and religion your dreams of equality are just that.

We can all see how such a great society as the state of Russia, with its hundreds of millions and a land exceeding that of the whole of Europe, with almost second to none possession of raw materials, has agreed to lead a communal life, and has effectively abolished private property. Each of them has no other concern but the well-being of society, and they have seemingly acquired the virtue of bestowal upon one’s fellow person in its fullest sense, as far as the human mind can reach.

However, go and see what has become of them: Building the Future Society (http://www.kabbalah.info/eng/layout/set/trans_page/content/view/full/3811)

LOVE and UNITY (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2F4OUaj_poY) could be a solution.

Great idea but in this world there are wolves and sheep. There is no answer to how the world can be a better place. If we get very lucky people will be well educated enough to understand consequence and effect. Don't hold your breath because people will always want to take advantage. At the end of the day it comes down to numbers and advatage, I'll place my faith in human nature and peer presure and if enough peers say this way or that then maybe people may say "this way up". Don't hold your breath though!!

Abercrombie & Fitch began in 1892 under the name David T. Abercrombie Co. It was a small waterfront shop and factory in New York City. The founder, David Abercrombie, was a former trapper, prospector, topographer, and railroad surveyor. His love for the great outdoors influenced his store, Abercrombie & Co., and was dedicated to camping, fishing, and hunting gear. His clientele consisted mostly of hunters and explorers. Ezra Fitch, a lawyer in New York crossed paths with Abercrombie & Co. in his search for outstanding outdoor gear. In 1900 Abercrombie became Abercrombie & Fitch and Ezra became a partner. Abercrombie & Fitch WholesaleLong arguments formed between the two men regarding the future of Abercrombie & Fitch(abercrombie & fitch clothing). Abercrombie wanted to continue selling gear to professional outdoorsmen, while Fitch wanted to focus the store on the general public. Abercrombie resigned in 1907 leaving the store in the hands of Ezra Fitch. Fitch wanted the store to have an outdoor feeling. He set up a tent in the middle of the store, and a campfire blazed in a corner. The clerks hired at A&F were not professional salesmen, they were true outdoorsmen. Inventory expanded as did the store. A&F became the first store in New York to supply such clothing to women as well as men. A&F began publishing a magazine which contained 456 pages of outdoor gear and clothing. Now there were 50,000 prospective customers for A&F. Abercrombie & Fitch soon became the largest sporting goods store in the world. Ezra Fitch retired and in 1977, the store went bankrupt. After a few owners, A&F was bought by Limited Inc. in 1988.

Yes, folks its another thread regarding religion

I can see the look on your faces now

Alright, it no secret that in the former USSR religion was supressed. Therefore there are many non-believers.

What suprises me is how some women may vary in their beliefs seemingly from day to day...... go figure

Here are some examples, all of these are from the same woman:

Any one or any RW especially care to comment?????????????

So then the question needs to be rephrased to: Do you think the government needs to find a way to make everyone happy?

I do not think it is about saving people from spending I really think it is all about whether or not they get tax money from it. What do you think?
