I have a few word problem that I am having trouble with if someone could please help me it would be greatly appreciated!

1.) Two planes travel toward each other from cities that are 780 km apart, at rates of 190 and 200 km/h. They started at the same time. In how many hours will they meet?

2.)when three printers A,B,and C are working together, they produce 4250 pages per hour. When only A and B are running, they produce 2900 pages per hour. How many pages can each printer produce in 1 hour?

3.) Mom is three times her daughter's age. Ten years from now the daughter will be one less than half her moms age. How old are each now?

Those are the problems I can not figure out. If you could reply with any work or how to set this problems up would be a huge help. Or you can e-mail me at SeanL1710@yahoo.com if you feel that would be easier.

Thank you in advance for any help you may give!

Please try to attempt the questions.

It's best that you attempt them and we can point out your faults.

1.) Two planes travel toward each other from cities that are 780 km apart, at rates of 190 and 200 km/h. They started at the same time. In how many hours will they meet?

remember: distance = rate * time so the 190km/h plane goes for T hours some of the way and the 200km/h plane goes for t hours the rest of the way.
thgether they both go 780km. So, the distance traveled by the first in time T + the distance traveled by the second in time T = 780

3.) Mom is three times her daughter's age. Ten years from now the daughter will be one less than half her moms age. How old are each now?

m=3d d+10= (m+10)/2 -1
