Hello everyone, I am a late starter in the field of astrophysics. For some reason I dropped out of high school at 16, got my GED and went into food service. After 16 years of cooking, I decided to go into computer, programming mostly, and thought I loved it. It turns out it was more of a hobby than a love.
What I missed was science, astronomy in particular. I want to go back to college and get my degree in Astrophysics and want to know where I should start. I know I need math (alot of it) and would like to know some reccomendations on schools and courses.
What math do I need to know? What science courses should I persue? Are there websites that can help prepare me on my road to science?
Any help would be apprieciated. Thank you for your time in reading my post.
