I have not had the chance to read the pdf. in its entirety, but it appears that the author is using pure logic to reach his conclusions. I think this is an excellent approach to physics. So many texts appear to use ad hoc reasoning to reach conclusions. I find this to be annoying and potentially dangerous to the foundations of physics.
