Hi,
Im new here, and am not sure if im posting in the right forum, but we will soon see. I need to know the basics, very basics of logarithms...If someone believes they can explain it to me trough the internet, Id very much appreciate it!

Are you defining logarithms as the inverse of exponents?

The "very basics" are:
1) logarithms are the "inverse" of exponentials: if y= log_a(x) then x= a^y and vice versa.

2) The "laws of logarithms"
i) log_a(xy)= log_a(x)+ log_a(y)
ii) log_a(x^y)= y log_a(x)

Memorize those.
