I don't expect you, or for that matter, anyone else to understand this. I was writing it when your card arrived. I don't think it would surprise Sally in the least . . . so, the dedication.
It's not finished; but then I write my poems on many levels. You'll know it's unfinished in memory of Sally's shortened, unfinished life. (Besides, the poem has said all that I wanted to say.) 12-27-97
